2009-2010 Season Guaranteed laughter will come in a number of plays next season – and the tone will be set from the first show, the popular farce Noises Off. Also coming next year is the classic Greek comedy Lysistrata, which was held over when last presented in 1991; Shaw’s comic masterpiece Heartbreak House; and Jenny’s House of Joy, a new comedy by one of Canada’s funniest playwrights, Norm Foster. The season is also given extraordinary depth by a pair of dramas – the gripping Emma’s Child and the Pulitzer Prize-winning Picnic by William Inge. Throughout the season our talented students, directors, and designers will continue to impress you with the full breadth of their talent and versatility.
