Stage management positions are available for 3rd and 4th year students in any of the Dramatic Art disciplines. Applicants must be in good academic standing, have worked as an ASM on at least 2 UP products, and have completed the DRAM 3150 Stage Management course.

The staff stage management mentor(s) shall assign students as stage managers for University Players productions through an application/interview process. Students may not normally be assigned to SM 2 productions in the same season.

If the stage management assignment is taken for a DRAM 3530 Production Problems credit, the production director, in consultation with the stage management mentor(s), will be responsible for assigning final grades. There will be a final paper and the stage manager's script will be turned in as required written components of the course.

Students assigned stage management positions must familiarize themselves with the policies and procedures outlined in the UP stage managers manual.
